Adult Program Series
BUGS for Parents of Kids Who Like BUGS!
Do bugs make good pets? “Mommy, can I keep it?” What do you do about that spider in the house? Anyone who has raised children knows kids find lots of bugs. These experiences can be either frightening bad memories or precious lessons about the ways of the natural world. What’s a parent to do?
  • These adult-oriented bug experiences can be offered in series or as stand alone events.

  • 1½ hours up to 25 participants $180

  • Series of three - $480

The Joy of BUGS! (for adults)
These are the same bugs we show the kids – but without the kids. Sometimes, it’s just more fun that way!
Basic Entomology for Fun and Enlightenment
Maybe you missed it in college – maybe not. BUGMAN’s unique insights into the inner workings of BUGS makes this an excellent opportunity to get some grown-up enrichment. A background in science is not required.

HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS

The library is a great place to have fun while learning. At this level, school resources are often used for other types of activities. Also, it's usually easier for adolescents to relax and enjoy themselves learning when they are outside of the formal classroom setting. We entertain teenagers (really, we do!) while pointing out ways people are making a living in the Arthropod world and how lessons learned from the natural world apply to everyday life. This is a great supplement to the over taxed science curriculums of most schools today.

Always a hit for all ages!

CHILDREN'S BUG PROGRAMS

Of course, our kids’ programs are still the best around! Live BUGS and cool lessons about respecting the World make a memorable experience for pre-schoolers and older children.

For reading series grants or regular library programming, the Joy of BUGS! fits well into any agenda. Sign-ups are recommended as group sizes are limited because of the dynamic (exciting), interactive nature of our presentation - what fun are BUGS if they're all the way across the room?!

And we bring the BUGS!
