Note: In the 3rd grade, we will also consider the ways to tell the difference between a grown-up bug and a not-grown-up one. This discussion is targeted at the following:

1. Compare the life cycles of different animals including birth to adulthood, reproduction and death (e.g., egg-tadpole-frog, egg-caterpillar-chrysalis-butterfly).
