This
awesome Golden-Silk Spider (Nephila clavipes) lives in Louisiana and
other southern United States. It is producing silk out of glands in the end of
its abdomen called spinnerets. The Golden-Silk Spider is one of many
large, Orb-Weaving Spiders in North America.
