This awesomely amazing, cryptic Katydid (Tettigonidae) blends in so well... well... you can see how well! Click on the picture to see more... She was eating the seeds of some Morning Glory (Ipomoea) plants in July. She is not fully mature yet - her wings haven't fully grown in. But, you can see the start of an ovipositor (or, egg-layer) on the end of her abdomen - it will get bigger, too, next time she sheds her skin.
